US Cellular Mobile Browser is Novarra

U.S. Cellular utilizes Novarra’s BREW mobile browser to offer full rich web services across the entire portfolio of mass-market feature phones. The service has been live since 2004, when it was available only on U.S. Cellular’s 1xRTT network. The browser is a cornerstone of U.S. Cellular’s Mobile Internet offering that now includes mobile video streaming and generates service plan revenues of $14.95 to $49.95 per month.

3Xplorer www3 is Novarra BrowserHutchison’s 3 Group utilizes Novarra’s Java mobile browser in Italy, Hong Kong, and other markets for premium web browsing, mobile video services and a customized on-device portal specific to each market’s design, content partners, marketing priorities. Individual operating companies began roll out in 2006 with daily, weekly & monthly pricing plans ranging from €1/day to €6/month in Italy and HK$30/month for web, HK$10/month for video in Hong Kong.

Palm WebPro is Novarra BrowserPalm

Branded WebProTM, Palm shipped the Novarra C++ browser on its wireless PDAs.  The robust browser pioneered most of the features seen on today’s smartphones and established the model for our patented distributed browsing architecture. On most models the browser was pre-installed.  Otherwise, consumers paid an annual license fee of $35 in addition to mobile operator data charges.
