Utilizing the Vision platform for emerging market handsets, a user experience that provides easy access to content most important to the user is possible. Access is provided to top sites as well as “long tail” sites that are personally relevant. Integration with core network or site infrastructure can enable a personalized experience, premium billing and/or content control.
Web 2.0 online “presence” can be maintained even when the user may be temporarily out of coverage or focused on other activities. The handset application will be dynamically sent new sports scores, inbox alerts and other fresh content when the user is again in coverage or chooses to receive updates.
